EASI-WALL System Can Be Used In Multiple Forming Systems
The EASI-WALL System can be used with most any forming system on the market including custom forms.
Standard Sandwich Wall Construction
Sandwich walls have been around for decades, however the construction process has been difficult for cast in place walls. In the past, to maintain proper and consistent foam location a two pour procedure was used which was costly and came with risks. Setting and pouring the wall twice more than doubled the man hours required. Failing to do a two pour process could cause the foam to break or move out of place eliminating the thermal barrier.
EASI Standard Sandwich Wall Construction
The EASI-WALL System, the ICF alternative, eliminates many on-site costs. The insulation is reinforced with a special material that greatly increases its strength and helps prevent breaks during the pour. GFRP spacers ensure that the insulation remains exactly where you want it which ensures no heat or cold transfer providing a true thermal barrier.
The EASI-WALL System, the ICF alternative, will withstand the hydrostatic pressure developed when placing concrete. The EASI-WALL System support system provides unparalleled insulation security with as much as 8 feet of offset in concrete placement from side to side with little insulation movement. Now, with a single form setting, you can pour the entire wall with the insulation in place without fear of the insulation breaking or moving.
Electrical and Plumbing
The combination of built in rebar clips and GFRP spacers allows plumbing and electrical to be placed prior to the setting of the forms and allows the concrete wall itself to be finished without having to be framed out.
Using the outlet clip attachment, electrical items can be directly attached to the EASI-WALL System. The outlet clip holds the outlet firmly to the form face providing for reduced chance of filling with concrete during the pour. This system continues to reduce cost and keeps the project on a fast paced schedule.
Windows and Doors
Windows and door openings are formed by placing a split buck. The split buck protects the thermal break by allowing the insulation to be cut after the pour.
Installing the Bucks
Simply place the outside buck against the wall in the proper location making sure it is plumb and level. Drill through the insulation and place bolts into the supports. The inside buck is then placed and nuts are tightened holding both sides into place for the pour.
Aluminum split bucks can be created for multiple pour situations or wood bucks can be created for custom sizes or last minute changes.
Stacked and Custom Walls
The EASI-WALL System, the ICF alternative, can be customized to meet most any need. T-walls can be formed without creating a thermal break. Gable and stacked wall situations are easy to create. Window and door openings can be placed wherever they are required. Tall wall construction poses little difficulty. The EASI-WALL panel works very well in gang form or hand set designs.

What is the R-Value of the EASI-WALL?
The EASI-WALL can come with several types and thicknesses of foam; these are factors that impact the R-Value. Additionally, your geographic location has an impact on the R-Value. What we can say is the foam has a qualified R-Value and the concrete has little or no R-Value but does have mass. It takes 2 hrs per inch for the ambient temperature to pass through the mass of standard concrete. Therefore, with a 4"/2"/4" wall configuration you have 8 hrs of protection on the exterior before the ambient temperature reaches the foam insulation. Conversely, this works to your advantage on the interior of the structure as well, acting as an 8 hr thermal mass with the 4” of concrete.
What are my options on wall thickness?
The EASI-WALL will allow for a minimum of a 3” thick concrete wall on either side of the foam up to whatever thickness you may require. The foam thickness can be adjusted per your design with the minimum thickness of 2".
